REDEVCO Services Deutschland GmbH is based in Düsseldorf. Managing Director is Heinz Brenninkmeijer. A team of 40 real estate professionals co-ordinates the German activities of the company. These activities focus on Management, Development and Trade. REDEVCO Services Deutschland GmbH is one of the largest companies in the international REDEVCO organisation. Our high-calibre portfolio consists predominantly of retail properties. It is managed from our headquarters in Düsseldorf.

Portfolio Management
At REDEVCO, modern portfolio management means long-term, sustainable appreciation of the existing portfolio. Diversification is also an integral element of the REDEVCO strategy: since the year 2000, we have therefore been investing in office and logistics as well as retail properties. In the retail segment, our interest focuses on first-class downtown properties and out-of-town retail centres. The percentage attributable to our primary tenant – REDEVCO’S sister company C&A – has been reduced in favour of other retailers. As an example of this diversification strategy REDEVCO sold about 40 C&A properties at the beginning of 2006.

Investment course
Now that these strategic sales have been finalised, REDEVCO is focusing all its attention on substantially growing the portfolio. The primary focus of our investments is on retail properties in prime locations in small, medium-size and large cities as well as on retail parks and shopping centres. We are also taking advantage of investment opportunities in the office and logistics segments. Increasingly important are investments in project developments and redevelopments, both for our own portfolio and for other investors, often in close collaboration with long-standing partners.

Project development and redevelopment
With the establishment of the development division a crucial start was made to adding value to many different elements of the portfolio.The objective is to continually upgrade properties in our existing portfolio. In addition, we also seek opportunities that present themselves in the real estate market for developing creative retail, office and logistics projects.

Our retail portfolio accounts for 72% of invested assets, industrial for 16% and offices centres for the remaining 12%.
