Core Business

Redevco manages and develops major retail real estate portfolios in Europe. We purchase, develop, let and manage properties, continually ensuring that our portfolio optimally reflects the requirements of our tenants. We believe it is our task to meet the needs of the market with the most relevant, sustainable and inspiring real estate solutions. Redevcos main focus is high street retail; in addition, we invest in and develop retail parks and shopping centres.

Asset management

Our core business is to invest in high-quality retail real estate and to continuously seek opportunities to add value to the portfolio. Some properties we hold for many decades; others we might sell sooner. But ultimately we believe in the long-term value of prime retail properties, with a focus on thriving and historic inner cities. Our value-creation process includes an active and proactive leasing strategy, optimising property management and redevelopment.

Mall management

In our business model, direct contacts with our clients, the retailers, are critical. As a result Redevco has developed in house the expertise necessary to run shopping centres professionally, rather than having to outsource that. This helps us to continuously adapt our marketing campaigns, investment plans and leasing strategy to a shopping centres needs. Our management philosophy is based on a win-win approach: we do well when our tenants do well. With our group’s long history in retail, a deep understanding of the retail sector and the ability to apply that understanding to all steps of the value chain have become second nature to us.

Development

Development activities help us build a high-quality retail real estate portfolio and further enhance value for all the stakeholders. Our expertise is based on a solid understanding of both the retail market and urban development principles. The basic elements of project development are affinity with urban design, the functionality of retail centres, quality architecture and technical expertise. A good knowledge of the market and the needs of retailers is essential for success too. To incorporate all those factors optimally in its development activities, Redevco has its own concepts department (Redevconcepts).
