Magnesia Shopping Center

REDEVCO Turkey is currently developing a shopping centre in Manisa, one of the most industrialised provinces in the Aegean Region, with a population of over 1.3 million. The development is located in the Laleli district, on Mimar Sinan Boulevard, the city’s main highway. It is also close to densely populated areas and to Manisa’s city centre. The project will be the city’s first shopping centre, creating a new and vibrant shopping and social environment for Manisa’s inhabitants and those from neighbouring provinces. The scheme will provide some 17,150 sq.m. of gross lettable space, including a 4,500 sq.m. hypermarket and a 1,500 sq.m. entertainments complex.

REDEVCO aims to assess all its new development projects using green building standards. REDEVCO has selected the Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method (BREEAM) for this, an internationally accepted standard for best practice in sustainable development.

The Manisa Shopping Center is scheduled to open in the second quarter of 2012.
