A thorough knowledge and understanding of what makes a destination attractive for people to live, work and play puts us in an excellent position to find the optimal store location for retailers and the best places for residential investments. This allows us to develop successful investment strategies for our investor clients. At the basis of our investment decisions is our city attractiveness model, developed by our Research & Strategy department, which ranks and scores cities according to their attractiveness for investments. On an asset level, we have developed the asset attractiveness model, which determines which asset will suit our investment strategies.
We monitor changes in consumer behaviour which impacts the attractiveness of cities. A good understanding of various factors, like e-commerce, structural stagnation of economic growth, political instability and demographic change, allow us to adapt our property offering to the needs of our clients. How we do this is described in our City Attractiveness brochure in more detail.
