European real estate investment manager Redevco has agreed a deal with Habitat, which will open a new store at Brighton’s Hanningtons Estate. At 6,500sqft it will be one of the largest stores in the UK for Habitat.
The new store will be housed across two floors on ground and basement levels of North Street, and will offer Habitat products across furniture, lighting, textiles and accessories. The store is expected to open in October 2018.
Redevco started redeveloping Hanningtons Estate in February 2017. The masterplan for Hanningtons Estate includes the creation of a new Lane, new entrance to the Lanes from North Street,
premium office suites, residential accommodation and the reconfiguration of existing shops to provide exciting new spaces for retailers, restaurants and cafes.
Work is expected to be completed by the end of 2018. Other retailers at Hanningtons estate are Kurt Geiger, Cath Kidston, Flying Tiger, Sandro, Maje, Bobbi Brown and White company.
