L’Espace du Palais in Rouen adds Söstene Grene, American Vintage and King Jouet to the mix. After signing up F&B brands Bchef and Rhythm’nFood late last year, and the opening of the Orange shop, three new retailers can be added to the tenant mix of L’Espace du Palais in Rouen. Söstene Grene, specialised in home accessories, opened a 400 sq.m. shop in July this year, next to anchor tenant FNAC. Fashion brand American Vintage will follow in September with a 140 sq.m. shop facing outward. The renowned toys store King Jouet will follow soon with a 760 sq.m. store next to both FNAC and Söstene Grene.
Redevco acquired L’Espace du Palais in October 2016 and is currently being uplifted to a modern shopping experience combining boutiques, restaurants, terraces, services and cultural elements. L’Espace du Palais is located in the heart of the tourist and shopping district of Rouen. It comprises 10,000 sq.m. of commercial space offering units to 30 brands, including the FNAC anchor. The scheme benefits from a catchment of 525,000. Despite the construction works, the renewed tenant mix already drives the number of visitors up. Having attracted 3.3 million visitors in 2017, L’Espace du Palais is showing an increase of 9% visitors in April 2018.
