Background

Redevco is a pan-European real estate platform that invests both proprietary and third-party capital across mainstream European cities. Redevco today manages circa €10.5bn of assets under management, with ambitions to grow the platform over the next 5-10 years. The business manages both a proprietary pan-European mixed used vehicle with circa €5bn of AUM with a €1bn investment programme underway across the retail, mixed use and residential space and, in addition, various third party mandates spanning development, opportunistic, value add and core plus for institutional clients.

The platform has a strong market presence in Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain and the UK. It is looking to further expand its capability set in the coming years with further investment and expansion.

Role overview

Reporting to the General Counsel, this role sits at the centre of Redevco’s investment activity, supporting the structuring and execution of funds, club deals and joint ventures across the portfolio. You will play a hands-on role in complex transactions, working closely with internal stakeholders and external advisers to shape structures, negotiate key agreements and deliver deals from inception through closing, and beyond.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage legal workstreams on the structuring and execution of funds, club deals and joint ventures, including the design of investment structures, negotiation of constitutional and investment documentation, and support through transaction closing.
• Advise on complex real estate investment transactions, working closely with investment and finance teams on acquisitions, disposals, refinancings and related transactional arrangements.
• Support transaction-related financing arrangements, including review and negotiation of loan and security documentation in coordination with internal stakeholders and external advisers.
• Act as a trusted legal adviser on structuring and deal execution, providing pragmatic input on legal, risk and commercial considerations to support strategic decision-making.
• Coordinate external counsel and multi-jurisdictional legal input on cross-border structures and transactions, ensuring consistency of approach and efficient delivery.
• Contribute to the development and evolution of Redevco’s investment structures and legal frameworks, in close collaboration with the wider Legal & Compliance team.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of professional experience gained at a reputable law firm combined with in-house experience
• Exposure to international and multi-jurisdictional matters
• Commercial, solution-oriented mindset with effective communication skills
