Investment Management Analyst
The role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Investment Management Analyst to join our investment management team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with senior investment professionals in supporting all phases of the portfolio lifecycle, from deal underwriting and financial modelling to ongoing portfolio monitoring, conducting financial analysis, and supporting portfolio management decisions. The ideal candidate has strong financial modelling skills, a passion for data, and a solid understanding of investment management principles.
Key responsibilities
- Create and maintain detailed financial models to underwrite asset management initiatives, dispositions, refinancing opportunities or manage portfolio liquidity and performance, aiming at supporting investment decision-making.
- Analyse market trends, property performance metrics, and risk factors to support investment theses.
- Monitor fund-level performance, prepare variance analyses, and recommend corrective actions where applicable.
- Conduct sensitivity analyses, stress tests, and scenario planning to evaluate downside risk.
- Prepare investment memos, presentations, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage, analyse and enhance large datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and risks. 1
- Assist asset and development teams in identifying and evaluating new investment opportunities in line with investment strategies.

What we’re looking for
- Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- 4-5 years of relevant experience in investment management, private equity, investment banking, or a related field.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
- Proven track record building and auditing complex Excel financial models.
- Familiarity with real estate valuation methodologies (traditional valuation, DCF, development etc.)
- Strong analytical and quantitative abilities with the ability to distil complex data into actionable insights.
- Experience with data management and tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfort presenting to senior stakeholders.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to work within a multi-cultural team.
- Though not essential, being CFA 1 certified or in the process of being certified is a plus. 2
