Portfolio Analyst (DACH Region)

Key responsibilities

• Perform financial analyses and underwriting for development, acquisition and re-letting projects mainly across Mixed-Use and Logistics mandates
• Support Asset, Project and Transaction Managers with the preparation, presentation and execution of investment proposals
• Provide portfolio analysis, quarterly updates and performance reporting for Investment Management and Group Control
• Align with Investment Management on calculations and assumptions
• Work with Research teams to integrate market insights, assumptions and trends into financial models
• Coordinate closely with the Debt Team on financing assumptions and structures
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of analytical tools, processes and models, including the use of AI-driven solutions

Key performance indicators

• Timely and accurate input for the investment proposals and quarterly reporting
• Quality of analysis of investment proposals for different mandates

Who we are looking for

• Completed training as a real estate specialist or comparable
• Minimum one year of relevant experience in real estate, asset management, transactions, development or investment analysis (practical experience during a dual education or from internships also welcome)
• Strong financial understanding and interest in real estate investments
• High level of reliability and ownership
• Enjoys working with numbers and complex data sets
• Analytical mindset and structured way of thinking
• Strong team player with good communication skills
• Good English language skills, spoken and written
• Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook)
• Interest in working with AI-based solutions (e.g. ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude)
