Redevco leases 3,600 m² in Nuremberg to TK Maxx

Redevco, one of Europe’s largest privately-owned real estate investment managers with assets under management of around €9.5 billion, announces its latest leasing success. TK Maxx will occupy approximately 3,600 square meters across the ground and first floors of the C&A building at Ludwigsplatz / Breite Gasse, opening its first store in Nuremberg’s city centre in the second half of 2026.

The lease represents another step in the sustainable transformation of the property from a single-tenant to a multi-tenant building. Back in 2021, EDEKA took over a roughly 2,900 square meter section of the basement level from anchor tenant C&A as part of the first subdivision.

Marcel Dicke, Senior Asset Manager at Redevco, commented: “With the recently granted building permit, we are entering the next phase of sustainable site development. We are delighted to have secured a strong new tenant in TK Maxx, which will benefit the entire city center of Nuremberg.”

The property at Ludwigsplatz offers more than 21,000 square meters of rental space across six floors. With a direct underground connection to the Weißer Turm subway station, the building is optimally connected to public transport.

As part of the city’s redesign of the pedestrian zone on Breite Gasse, ongoing since the beginning of 2025, the micro-location is being further enhanced and made more attractive. The goal is to sustainably improve the quality of stay, for example through additional greenery and infrastructure upgrades.
