Renovation of existing asset
Energy use
Through a large scale renovation of the whole asset including the renewal of all technical installations Together with the installation of energy efficient lifts and escalators, a highly insulated façade and solar panels.
Redevelopment
Redevco designed and renovated the asset with the intention of letting the retail space in the basement, ground and first floor to Decathlon. The tenant Zalencentrum Vredenburg took the opportunity to renovate their space.
- The building was extremely dated therefore a complete metamorphosis was required.
- The building’s refurbishment included renewal of the entire front facades and the renovation of the other facades, resulting in a contemporary, warm and attractive retail property with double height shop windows and entrance.
Update: In 2021, we achieved the standard for the certification of Vredenburg in Utrecht, the Netherlands to a BREEAM In-Use ‘Excellent’ rating.
