The world’s largest Zara store now open in Rotterdam

On November 17, 2023 – retailer Inditex opened the world’s largest Zara store at the Coolsingel / Beursplein in the very heart of Rotterdam’s city centre. With this new flagship store, Inditex amplifies its position in Rotterdam. In this building of approximately 8,000 m2 Inditex concentrates its former two Zara stores (Beursplein and Lijnbaan) and Zara Home store (Coolsingel) under the same roof. And to its latest design, including the newest assortments and technological features.
Sustainability in the city
The facade of the building at ‘Beursplein’ was fully refurbished. Parties also joined forces to make the building as sustainable as possible, in line with Redevco’s ambition to make its entire portfolio energy neutral by 2040. This includes a new green roof and the installation of 257 solar panels. A great accomplishment of our Dutch Redevco team.
