Redevco deepens commitment to European logistics through acquisition of four German assets

  • Redevco acquires an Industrial Outdoor Storage (IOS) portfolio of three MAN Truck & Bus service facilities in Frechen, Hirschberg and Langenhagen, and one KMS Autohof truck stop in Malsfeld

  • Transaction marks another step in Redevco’s logistics expansion in the IOS space following recent acquisitions in Spain and the UK

London, September 2, 2026 – Redevco, one of Europe’s largest privately owned real estate managers with assets under management of around €10.5 billion, has acquired a portfolio of four transport-led logistics assets in Germany, further expanding its entire logistics platform to 11.9 million sq ft and approximately €1bn AuM across 32 assets.

The portfolio consists of three truck service facilities in Frechen, Hirschberg and Langenhagen, and a full-serviced truck stop in Malsfeld. Fully occupied and located close to major German cities and infrastructure networks, the assets provide 87,000 sq m (approx. 936,500 sq f) of gross lettable area and offer exposure to transport-led real estate in key logistics corridors.

The Frechen asset, west of Cologne, is located close to the A4 and A1 motorways and serves one of Germany’s most important logistics regions. Hirschberg benefits from direct access to the A5 corridor east of Mannheim, linking the Frankfurt Rhine-Main region with southern Germany. The Langenhagen facility is situated north of Hanover, close to the airport and with fast access to the A352, A2 and A7. The Malsfeld truck stop occupies a strategic position on the A7, close to the A7/A4/A5 intersection, providing north-south and east-west connectivity through central Germany.

Having completed three IOS transactions within the space of a month across Germany, Spain and the UK, Redevco underlines its strong conviction in the sector and its ability to source and execute on attractive opportunities across Europe. With these acquisitions, Redevco continues to grow a high-quality, pan-European logistics platform centred on core markets and supported by the structural growth in urban logistics and transport-led real estate. Redevco’s Industrial Outdoor Storage (IOS) footprint now stands at 6.4 million sq ft and €225 million AuM across 17 assets.
